The first item that should be taken care of is who will be making what for dinner. Are you going to make a whole meal or will you be dividing up food assignments to others who will be coming? When dividing up food responsibilities, make sure that you send out the assignments in an easy to understand format and in a place that they can access again. A place where people can communicate back and forth is a plus as well. That might mean communicating through an email, a texting group, Google Sheets, or another online platform.

Table Setting. When choosing a table setting, consider how much time and effort you want to put into the setting as well as how the rest of your home is decorated. You might also consider the feeling you want the table setting to convey. Maybe you like warm and cozy or maybe you like clean and classy.
