At Canyon Park, we know there is a lot of fun to be had this time of year. Celebrate the season this month in Puyallup, WA! Attending local events is a great way to get to know your town and feel more at home wherever you live. You can meet new people with your same interests and support the local economy at the same time. We are featuring just a few of the events coming to the area in this post.
Watson’s Greenhouse holds annual events that are fun for everyone! One event they hold is Girl’s Night Out on December 13th from 5:30-8:00 pm. This event is by admission only, tickets are available online and in store. A great evening for anyone to enjoy! Appetizers and wine will be available (your ticket gets you two glasses). Proceeds benefit the American Heart Association. During the event, you can take 10% off your entire purchase in store.
Another local event is North Pole at the Fair! This is the 3rd year of this spectacular event. The site calls this an “immersion experience for..the kid in all of us.” Located at the Washington State Fair and Event Center, tickets are $5 per person, and free for those under the age of 2. Attractions include Santa’s Office (where the naughty and nice list is made!), Santa’s Workshop where you can create a gift of your own, and enjoy a treat from Mrs. Claus’ Kitchen! Portraits with Santa are also available with a $35 reservation which holds your time slot. Admission to North Pole is included with purchase of reservation receipt.
Also at the fairgrounds is A Victorian Country Christmas from November 30th-December 4th. This event features performers, food, lights and Santa! A Singing Nativity and Winter Wine Garden are also features at this event.
